Statement regarding events in Ukraine

Monday 28 February 2022

Liverpool Philharmonic condemns the Russian invasion of Ukraine.

Before our concert on 27 February, Domingo Hindoyan and the Orchestra played the Ukraine national anthem in solidarity with the people of Ukraine.  

Liverpool Philharmonic is encouraging colleagues to support local Polish organisation Polskie Merseyside who, together with other organisations, is collecting items to ship to Poland to help Ukrainian people who have escaped the war.
