George was a great lover of classical music, something he especially enjoyed with his late wife Coral. Having grown up and lived in Liverpool his whole life he was a huge supporter of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and enjoyed attending their concerts.

In memory of George, his family are raising money in support of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, and for a seat to be dedicated in his name.
