Make Music at Liverpool Philharmonic

About us

Liverpool Philharmonic Youth Company is the city’s flagship talent development programme,  working with young musicians of all ages and levels of expertise, from a diverse range of backgrounds. We provide high quality ensembles, bands and music making experiences, alongside world-class projects and masterclasses, to give aspiring young musicians everything they need to thrive within the music industry.

Our belief is that music is for all, and that our young people will create a more thriving, diverse and exciting  musical era for the future. Youth Company’s mission is to offer Liverpool’s young and emerging musicians an extensive range of learning opportunities, pathways into the industry, connection with a community of supportive and like-minded peers, and the excitement and buzz that can only come from making music together.

We are now accepting applications for all ensembles and choirs! Full and partial bursaries are available on a non means tested basis. For more information, please contact youthcompany@liverpoolphil.com.

Please note that the approximate minimum standards for each ensemble and choir are general guidance only, and candidates do not need to have completed formal examinations.
