Open Rehearsals for Members

Open Rehearsal Dates

Observe some of the world’s greatest musicians as they prepare for a performance at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall!

Liverpool Philharmonic Members can attend these events – wonderful backstage insights into the day-to-day life of our conductors and musicians, as they rehearse on stage at Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.

Each season, Silver Members receive invitations to at least four Open Rehearsals, and Gold Members receive invitations to at least eight Open Rehearsals. Members can also enjoy invitations to VIP events and pre-concert receptions, plus access to our members-only bar, the 1840 Room (pre-booking required). 

To attend an Open Rehearsal, please call 0151 210 2921 or email fundraising@liverpoolphil.com. Event invitations are for two people, so you are always welcome to bring a guest with you. Rehearsals last approximately one hour.

This event is for Silver Members and above.Domingo Hindoyan conductor

Chief Conductor, Domingo Hindoyan, will lead the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in a rehearsal of Kodály Dances of Galánta in preparation for the concert 'Slavic Masterpieces' which will be performed on Thursday 6 February at 7.30pm.

Wednesday 19 February, 10.30am (arrive from 10am)

This event is for Gold Members and above.Domingo Hindoyan conductor

Chief Conductor, Domingo Hindoyan, will lead the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in a rehearsal of Stravinsky's Petrushka (1947) in preparation for the concert 'Dream Team' which will be performed on Thursday 20 February at 7.30pm.

Thursday 27 March, 3.30pm (arrive from 3pm)

This event is for Silver Members and above.Domingo Hindoyan conductor

Chief Conductor, Domingo Hindoyan, will lead mezzo-soprano soloist, Jennifer Johnston, and the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra in a rehearsal of Mahler's Symphony No.3 in preparation for the concert 'Mahler Symphony No.3' on Saturday 29 March at 7.30pm.
