Liverpool Philharmonic are pleased to welcome applications for the role of HR and Planning Officer.
Working with the Chief Executive, you will play a key role in supporting and contributing to the delivery of Liverpool Philharmonic’s strategic and operational plans as well as being a member of the Human Resources (HR) team, delivering high quality and customer focused HR services.
You will be responsible for managing all communications and administration for the Chief Executive, the Chair and the Board as well as other committees and internal management teams. You will liaise with Arts Council England and Liverpool City Council in relation to funding including producing necessary monitoring information to meet our grant conditions.
As the initial point of contact for HR, you will work with the HR Manager to continuously improve systems and processes, providing support to managers and organising management development training. You will produce and analyse HR data as well as providing administrative support to the HR function across all areas of the employment life-cycle, including, recruitment and selection, induction, probation, absence management, performance management and employee relations.
You will have a meticulous attention to detail and you will need the confidence and ability to deliver a variety of projects and prioritise a heavy workload while working to tight deadlines. A thorough and strategic approach to planning and scheduling work is essential. This is an ideal opportunity for an executive support professional who is interested in a role in performing arts administration, and in developing their HR skills and knowledge and can bring analytical skills and strategic thinking to their work.
With excellent IT skills and a commitment to high standards of customer service, some experience of working in a busy administration environment, and/or HR team is desirable as is the willingness to study towards an HR CIPD qualification.
This is a full-time, permanent post, with a salary of £24,000 per annum.
