Second Violin
Olga's love and passion for playing music with friends developed at the age of 9 when she joined her first trio at school, followed by Krakow' Youth Philharmonic Orchestra, for which she then became its leader in 2001. She was a scholarship winner for the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London where she completed her Bachelors and Masters degrees with first class honours back in 2011. Whilst studying under the mentorship of Krzysztofa Smietana, Olga was also working with orchestras such as EUYO, Nigel Kennedy's Orchestra of Life and Southbank Sinfonia and as freelance musician with Philharmonia and Bournemouth Symphony Orchestras.
Olga was appointed a second violin section player with the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra at the beginning of 2012, and since she has made Liverpool her home.
Olga loves teaching to inspire creativity, support children's instrumental development and brighten their everyday life with beautiful sounds, but most of all her favourite thing to do is to share the stage with all of the most incredible musicians and individuals of the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, that she is able to call her friends. There is nothing more inspiring and uplifting than being part of this team!
