Chip Wickham

Deep classic jazz and hardbop with a modern twist from much loved UK sax and flute star, Chip Wickham.

Expect Chip’s trademark funky sounds, drawing on fresh influences from the deep jazz of the legendary Strata East and Black Jazz recordings of the early 70s, alongside nods to the classic British jazz sounds of Tubby Hayes. There’ll be firing tenor and vibraphone with soulful, spiritual jazz flute and deep Lonnie Liston Smith covers from his recent Astral Travelling EP.
Premium seating for this event will be presented cabaret style and standard seating will be presented theatre style.
