Alongside the classic Peter and the Wolf, join Gaspard the friendly fox and his furry chums in a warm-hearted adventure, performed by their creator Zeb Soanes with live on-stage painting from the series illustrator, James Mayhew. Accompanied by the Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, this is the perfect way to introduce children to a live orchestra through images and storytelling.
The concert will last approximately one hour.
The 1.15pm concert on Thursday 15 June will be signed by a BSL interpreter.
Scheme of Work
With your booking you will receive a free scheme of work written specifically for Key Stage 1, which explores the concert theme and content. The scheme encompasses individual lessons and accompanying resources that can be delivered in the classroom by the class teacher. It will also introduce the performers and provide relevant background information to prepare for your visit.
The scheme of work allows learners to develop knowledge and skills linked to the national curriculum and will enhance their experience at the concert.
"Really well thought out range of activities. The background information was useful and having the links ready to go was excellent – it made the lessons accessible for us."
