Section Leader Oboe

The Royal Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra – the UK’s oldest – is a critically-acclaimed ensemble, central to Liverpool’s cultural offering. We are currently seeking a Section Leader Oboe to join the Orchestra from summer 2024. This is to succeed Jonathan Small, who will be retiring from the RLPO at the end of his 40th season. 

The salary for this position is £43,674.

Live audition

If your application is successful, you will be invited to attend a live audition in either Liverpool or London (both 1st and 2nd round auditions will take place on the same day at each venue) – 27th Sept 2022 (Liverpool) & 29 Sept 2022 (London).
