Glaswegian indie-folk act, Belle and Sebastian are coming to Liverpool as part of their headline UK and European tour, having recently wrapped up a North American tour that included Panorama and Osheaga Festivals, appearances at the legendary Hollywood Bowl and Merriweather Post Pavilion.
The concert will feature new music, including their new single, ‘We Were Beautiful’, recorded and produced in the band’s native Glasgow. The recently released video for this track presents a cinematic slice of life - and all of the pain, joy, confusion, and love that comes with it - as the city of Glasgow wakes up over a Saturday morning.
Always attuned to human pathos and their community, Belle and Sebastian’s artful meditation on quotidian moments is a perfect visual companion to the new song, which The Sunday Timesdescribed as ‘a Pet Shop Boys-like curveball that explodes into a quintessential B&S chorus.’
Enjoy a pre-concert or interval drink in our private hospitality space, the 1840 Room, for just £7 per person including a free drink.
Avoid the crowds in the Grand Foyer Bar, and relax and enjoy views across the city from our third-floor 1840 Room. Spaces are limited so book early.
The 1840 room will be open from 90 minutes prior to the concert start time, and during the interval (it’s closed during the performance).
