BLUE DRAG MUSIC PRESENTS

Django’s Legacy II: The Robin Nolan Trio

This is the second in the series of Django’s Legacy concerts showcasing the stunning music of legendary guitarist Django Reinhardt. World renowned gypsy jazz guitarist Robin Nolan has fused the worlds of his guitar heroes Django Reinhardt and Angus Young.

His upcoming album release 'Sin City' features AC/DC classics given a personal gypsy jazz makeover. The result is ground breaking, exciting and downright dirty. AC/DC anthems like 'Back In Black', 'Hells Bells' and 'You Shook Me All Night Long' are performed by Robin's gypsy jazz trio in a virtuosic way played on acoustic guitars and stand up bass.

It all started with the creation of 'Djangus', a devilish acoustic gypsy guitar forged in the style of Angus Young's iconic Gibson S.G. complete with horns and thunderbolts. Robin was entrusted with this axe and has gone forth to create the magic.

Come on down to 'Sin City' and enjoy an evening of Django classics, Gypsy Jazz, Swing, and Beatles tunes mixed with AC/DC classics played like you’ve never heard them before!

Robin Nolan (guitar) is joined by Kevin Nolan (rhythm guitar) and Arnoud van den Burg (double bass).
