John Rutter might just be the world’s best-loved living classical composer. Millions have sung his music, millions more have been touched by it: fresh, sincere, written with genuine love and passion.

Tonight we’re honoured to welcome the man himself to conduct both his deeply-moving Requiem, and the first Liverpool performance of The Gift of Life – a joyous new choral masterpiece celebrating “the living earth, creation and life itself”. An evening of beauty with a true living master.
