Lunchtime Concert

Marcel Becker, double bass and David Dear, piano

Handel Concerto No.3 for Double Bass
Bruch Kol Nidrei Op.47
Schubert Arpeggione Sonata in A minor

Marcel Becker double bass
David Dear piano

The double bass might be the largest of string instruments, but it has the soul of a great singer. In the hands of the Orchestra’s principal bass Marcel Becker it’ll stretch its wings in music by Handel, Bruch – the passionate Kol Nidrei – and Schubert.
Please note that reserved seating is in place for this concert.
