Experience Mussorgsky’s musical ‘gallery crawl’ past whimsical drawings on display in his glittering Pictures at an Exhibition — from the eerie Parisian Catacombs to The Great Gate of Kiev’s tumultuous pealing of bells in a thunderous finale. It’s a spectacular way to follow Glazunov’s tuneful Violin Concerto, played by the masterly Esther Yoo. As for Britten’s Young Person’s Guide – well, there’s no livelier way to get to know the full Orchestra, whatever your age!
