Trumpeter, composer and arranger Philip Lassiter has been knee-deep in the funk since his days as horn arranger & section leader in Prince’s New Power Generation.

11-time Grammy award-winning arranger Philip Lassiter has his roots in Texas funk, Alabama gospel, New Orleans jazz and Nashville soul, and has performed at some of the biggest festivals in the world.

Lassiter's top-tier compositions and arrangements - featuring his virtuosic trumpet playing - have landed him gigs with Kirk Franklin, Jill Scott, The Isley Brothers, Roberta Flack and many others.
