Lucy Farrell is building her solo career with her exquisite renditions of traditional ballads and quietly moving original songs. As one fourth of The Furrow Collective, Lucy is a BBC Radio 2 Folk Award winner, following the release of the band’s widely acclaimed Wild Hog LP in 2017. As a soloist, accompanying herself on tenor guitar, viola or shruti box by turn, she explores many of the favourite themes of traditional music, and in doing so, delves into her own responses to the song.

Andrew Waite is an accordion player and composer from the Scottish Borders. His music is rooted in Scottish, Irish and English Trad music but he also takes influences from many genres such as jazz, gypsy jazz, bluegrass, funk and classical music. Andrew was a finalist in the ‘BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year’ in 2011, and was an ‘Up and Coming Act of the Year’ nominee at Na Trads in 2015. As well as playing in bands such as Tyde, Dallahan, Eliza Carthy and the Wayward Band, and Fourth Moon, Andrew has also appeared on stage with Sting, The Unusual Suspects, and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra.
