Following multiple sell-out shows, Liverpool Acoustic’s favourite folk-rock band returns for another all-standing, all-dancing, hell-raising full band show, with a few musical friends popping up along the way.
Merry Hell have made a name for themselves as one of the most energetic and entertaining bands on the UK folk festival circuit, with four critically acclaimed albums under their belts.
Founded on the ever-evolving folk tradition – music made by the people and shared by the people – though their hearts and souls are tuned to the songs which came before, Merry Hell bring us new words and music forged from their own experiences.
Merry Hell retains a nucleus of brothers John, Bob and Andrew Kettle (guitar, mandolin and vocals respectively), along with keyboard player Lee Goulding, drummer Andy Jones and keys and vocalist Virginia Kettle.
The 1pm show will be opened by Anthony John Clarke, whose wonderful songs, warm personality, and humerous stories never fail to entertain.
Support for the 8pm show is provided by Jenny Colquitt. Winner of FATEA Female Solo Singer/Songwriter 2022, Jenny’s music showcases a unique combination of Americana, indie, rold rock and pop.
Merry Hell will also be performing an acoustic afternoon show - click here for more info. Book tickets for both shows and get £5 off, plus exclusive access to the MerryMeet event in-between the shows. MerryMeet is an opportunity to meet the band, socialise with other Merry Hell fans, and join in the Big Merry Singaround!
