Richard Marx

With support from Dandelion Head

Richard Marx has been a recording artist and powerhouse of the songwriting world for almost 40 years. A true multi-talented performer, he’s written for the likes of Barbra Streisand, Kenny Rogers, Michael Bolton and Celine Dion, and scored 14 No.1 singles as both a performer and songwriter/producer. Having sold over 30 million albums, his latest release, Songwriter, features pop, rock and country songs, as well as five beautiful ballads – a celebration of the versatility and ambition that he’s displayed throughout his career.

The new album also saw Richard work alongside various music superstars, writing tracks with Keith Urban, Chris Daughtry, David Hodges, Darius Rucker and the legendary Burt Bacharach – an experience he considers “one of the greatest thrills of [his] life”.

Songwriter is another chapter in not only a long and illustrious career, but the latest project in a recent flurry of creative endeavours. In February 2020, Richard released Limitless, an album which spawned a top 15 single. In 2021, Richard’s memoir, Stories to Tell became a national bestseller.
