In advance of an audition, you will be sent orchestral excerpts to learn. You should prepare these excerpts to the best of your ability, and you will be asked to play these at the audition. You will also be asked to perform 2 contrasting pieces of your choice which should demonstrate your skills and experience. This will give the panel an idea of how well you can learn and prepare music, and how your playing is developing.
