Raghu Dixit

Often hailed as India’s biggest cultural and musical export, Raghu Dixit’s unique brand of infectious, happy music transcends age, genre, and even language. His collective, The Raghu Dixit Project is coming back to the UK to play new songs of his upcoming album Shakkar.

Raghu's work is strongly rooted in Indian traditions and culture and is presented with a very contemporary, global sound. He’s played to over 100,000 people in his home state, performed on several stages at Glastonbury Festival, appeared on Jools Holland and even played for Queen Elizabeth II. Raghu Dixit’s second studio album, Jag Changa, was Songlines Editor’s ‘Top of the World’ album choice.
