In 1964, at the height of Beatlemania, the Fab Four released their third studio album and starred in their first feature film – both called A Hard Day’s Night. To celebrate the 60th anniversary of the film’s release, we’re screening the smash-hit musical comedy. Nominated for two Academy Awards – including Best Screenplay – the film follows the band, and all their mischievous adventures, as they prepare for a televised performance.The film will be introduced by the University of Liverpool's Dr Michael Jones.

Tickets for this event include a £1 venue restoration levy, included in the ticket price. This fee supports building investment at the Grade II-listed Liverpool Philharmonic Hall.
