Beethoven in Liverpool

Marking the 200th anniversary of Beethoven’s death, Chief Conductor Domingo Hindoyan leads the Orchestra and Choir through the composer’s historic cycle of symphonies. For the very first time, Hindoyan will conduct every single one of Beethoven’s nine symphonies across five concerts in one epic fortnight-long exploration of these revolutionary works.

Beethoven broke the mould. He tore up the rule book, and pushed the emotional, structural and harmonic boundaries of the symphony – changing classical music forever. This is an unmissable chance to experience the pivotal and transformative work that the great composer created during his lifetime.
